Resources
Below you will find some links to websites that can be a great help to you as we learn math this year. Please use them frequently!
FLEX: The first and best resource available to you as a student is FLEX. FLEX is meant for you to be able to work on assignments from all classes. The is the best time for you to go and see your math teacher and get extra help with assignments you may be struggling with or re-take a quiz. FLEX is immediately after 1st hour most days, occasionally we don't have FLEX, but this is a rare occurrence.
After School Tutoring: After school tutoring is a free tutoring session offered by the math department here at Ridgeline. It is held every Monday - Thursday in Mrs. Peterson's room (room 208) from 2:45 pm - 4:15 pm. The after school tutoring is always staffed by two teachers that are more than capable of helping you with any math questions you may have. You can come and go as you please, be there for 10 minutes or all 90, it is up to you. Khan Academy: khanacademy.org is a fantastic tool available to anyone for free. On this site you can search for help videos and lessons by topic. There are also practice problem sets that are very helpful. Desmos: desmos.com is a free online graphing calculator tool. We will use this website periodically in class, and is a great alternative to buying your own graphing calculator. |
